WEEK 16 - FAVORABLE MATCHUPS

ALEX SMITH
Smith got banged up against a tough Philadelphia defense last Sunday as his four game multiple touchdown streak was broken. Smith is sure to get back on track against the dismal Detroit secondary in week sixteen.

JASON SNELLING
Snelling has been getting the bulk of the work with Michael Turner out with the injury. Turner was active last week and likely ruined championship hopefuls who took a chance on him. Turner had one carry for seven yards. Snelling picked up the slack against the stout Jets defense. He should get the bulk of the work against the Buffalo Bills who give up rushing yards by the acre.

JEROME HARRISON
Harrison had a record day as he trounced the Chiefs for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns. Though it will be virtually impossible to match that performance, Harrison faces another weak rush defense in the Raiders. Harrison should get another 100 yards and a score.

MIKE BELL
Bell has been consistently receiving at least half the carries with the Pierre Thomas time share up until last week. The New Orleans offense is obviously one of the top passing offenses in the league but surprisingly also move the ball on the ground as good as any team in the league. Bell will have a number of chances against week sixteen opponent Tampa Bay and is almost a lock to score.

BEANIE WELLS
Wells is officially the Cardinal primary running back as he’s received the bulk over the last three weeks including scores in the last two. The St Louis rush defense is weak and you can expect a huge lead early in the game followed by a bottomless pit of carries and yards for Wells.

LARRY JOHNSON
Benson has received just about every carry since returning from a two week absence. Johnson is still the backup but his opportunities have been limited. The Bengals face the Chiefs defense that got sizzled by Harrison last week. We assume Benson will be productive but will likely get the hook after a big lead. Look for Johnson to get double digit carries.

MICHAEL CRABTREE
Crabtree could have been the fifth top receiver the Lions selected over the last decade and week sixteen he is going to make them pay for passing on him. Smith is going to have multiple touchdown passes and Crabtree will get at least one of them. He has been a steady target of Alex Smith and could have his first real breakout game from a fantasy perspective in week sixteen.

MALCOM FLOYD
Floyd has been growing into the number two receiver role for the red hot San Diego Chargers. Though has still has not had a “Miles Austin” or “Sidney Rice” moment since receiving more targets, he is a constant on passing downs and a very good deep play option. The Chargers face the Titans pass defense week sixteen which gives up 265 yards a game.
