WEEK 16 - UNFAVORABLE MATCHUPS
MATT RYAN
Ryan returned to the lineup in less than triumphant fashion throwing for 152 yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets last week. Atlanta faces a lopsided Buffalo defense that is stout against the pass yet brutal against the run. Expect Snelling and Norwood to dominate the play calling.
ELI MANNING
Manning has been on a fantasy role the last three weeks getting the Giants back into playoff contention. New York faces the Carolina Panthers week sixteen which just held Favre to 224 yards and no scores. The Giants will return to the bread and butter combination of Jacobs and Bradshaw.
JUSTIN FORSETT / JULIUS JONES
Seattle gets the pleasure of facing the Green Bay Packers fantasy championship week in a game that will surely be one sided. The frozen tundra will not be kind of a Seahawks running game that refuses to make a transition to backup Forsett. The Seahawks get what they deserve which is one loss after another and inevitably coaches on the unemployment line.
QUINTON GANTHER
The story is suppose to go rags to riches not rags to riches to rags again. Ganther owners were dealt pocket aces two weeks ago as he reached the end zone twice in his debut. Ganther owners got out-flopped in week fifteen salvaging a complete fantasy bust by scoring a mop up touchdown when Mason did most to the work on the drive. Ganther is guaranteed to get rivered next week with as his pocket aces are busted by and inside straight draw called the Dallas Cowboys rush defense. The Redskins offense is in complete shambles and no Redskin is safe to start.
PIERRE GARCON
Peyton Manning is still throwing touchdown passes but they aren’t going to Garcon. Garcon has only two receptions in each of the last two games. The combination of lack of targets and the New York Jets pass defense spells disaster for Garcon week sixteen.
CALVIN JOHNSON
Johnson has incredible talent on possibly the worst team in the last forty years. Culpepper and Stanton have little to no chance of getting the ball the Johnson for the big play that will make or break his fantasy week.
VISANTHE SHIANCOE
Shiancoe lives and dies by the touchdown. If he doesn’t score he is guaranteed to be a fantasy bust. He hasn’t topped 25 yards in the last three weeks and failed to haul in a score in the last two. The Vikings have opted to run the ball recently on the goal line and last we checked tight ends don’t get points for blocking.
